Good Bye, Friend
A good friend of mine passed away recently. I'll miss his sound advice, kind heart, and energy of life.

An event like this really puts things into perspective for me. I think I'm going to try to prioritize my life. I'm not sure what this will mean for the blog. Will I stop blogging entirely, post the same amount, or increase posting? I'll sort that out it the days ahead, but my gut tells me I'll leaning toward no longer posting.

I may come back in a week, a month, or next spring.

Thanks to those who have supported the blog in the past. Special thanks to all (okay, most =)) of the other Berkeley bloggers.

If anyone wants to take over, I'd be happy to let them post on Prog Cal. Prog Cal was started so that people around the nation could hear a progressive Berkeley student's voice and see that progressives were not all the riotous irrational communists they're labeled as.
